- Pull the real inventory. Use purchasing records, the chemical inventory, and safety data sheets to record each major flammable or combustible material, its maximum quantity, container type, and storage and use locations. If the maximum is unknown, mark it unknown and count it; a plausible estimate is poor compliance data.
